What's Happening at Corisande Rd?
Working with Birmingham City Council we are making improvements to the Corisande Rd entrance to the park.
Over the next six months we plan to:
Remove self seeded trees from fence line.*
Remove old and diseased trees from walkway.*
Remove isolated shrubs.
Replace broken fencing.
Install new notice board.
Install new artwork.
Plant new more suitable trees.
Plant new bulbs and ground cover plants.
*We will plant as many trees as we remove either at this entrance or elsewhere in the park.
Progress so far.
Oct 2021. Funding secured from Commonwealth Games Celebrating Communities Fund.
Nov 2021. Ground clearance to reveal old fencing.
Feb 2022. Trees mostly removed and ground clearance work complete. new trees ordered and ready for panting.
